Monday's usually suck, but this semester i like Mondays. I only have one class, and it's my favorite class, and it's really early in the morning, so I have the whole day to do whatever. today i went to Center City to get some photo assignments done. i got a Barack pin from this really cool old lady named Pearl, selling them on a corner

When I heard Barack would be speaking, 6 blocks from my house i was so excited! I didn't get any good pictures, which is painful as a photographer, but just getting the chance to see him in person was good enough.

Sanaa

I have a smile on my face because i have a plate of macaroni and cheese, sweet potato, and string beans. i helped out at an NAACP banquet tonight for KeVen Parker's catering company. a bit boring, but i'm getting paid for it, so i cant complain too much. someone told me i look like Sanaa Lathan and someone else backed him up. and my eyes rolled to the back of my head.



Ever since Love and Basketball came out, i havent been able to escape the Sanaa comments. i mean, she is my favorite actress and all, and she's beautiful, but i just don't see the resmeblance.

jam of the week: Closer by Floetry

i haven't gotten adequate sleep for the past 2 weeks. My photojournalism class had to put together a magazine in a week. a week! well he gave us 2 weeks, but we didn't get our act together til the second week, but still thats just not enough time to put a quality magazine together, hence the no sleep. i'm proud of how it turned out though given the time we had. (it's currently being displayed on the 3rd floor of Annenberg. maybe i'll post a pic of it). things have been going well in that class otherwise. my teacher told me he was proud of me and gave me a pat on the back.
